Here's the finished alcove ready and waiting for my "Reserved for Santa", a plate of cookies, and a glass of milk. For now...timeline is Christmas Eve and the shop is open for last minute customers that want gingerbread cookies for the holidays. Well almost.
These windows were stinkers. As I mentioned, they weren't meant to be open, but I made them so they would open so I could have a pan of gingerbread cookies cooling on the sill. The kit was short some pieces, so made some frames out of mat board. Seemed to work well enough for this. I may still add curtains. I won't know that until I'm farther along.
