These are the lights I made. The two on the right side of the house are purchased, but these three I made. The first is made from one of those Christmas balls that you found in groups at Christmas time. I miniaturized the gingerbread boy and then glued him inside the globe with Mod Podge. I also toned down the bulb by painting it with some yellow Gallery Glass...a tip I got from a miniaturist on Roz Weitzman's site. Thanks Leslie. The other two on the right are made from eggs. The first one is a half quail egg, a purchased globe, and findings. I glued the same gingerbread boy around the shell and then sealed it with Mod Podge again. The second and last one is a small dove egg on the bottom, and a half quail on the top, cut in scallops with my dental tool. The decorations are left over Class-A-Peel stickers, and then filled in with colored Crystal Lacquer to give it that Tiffany look. I hope you like them. I think this last one is a little too large and not to scale...which I don't understand well. I'll see after this is done more about whether or not to change it.
